I had a Border Collie, more than half a lifetime ago. This brings back 16 years of memories.
Great dogs eh Alan , i would love one but not while iam working though.Love the photo actually , the interaction between dug and owner is fantastic if slightly obsessive Hope it brought back good memories .
You were up early btw.
Great composition, I'm not a dog person but I have a great deal of empathy for a person walking along the beach in the early morning solitude. very well portrayed Alan a thoughtful and thought provoking image.

Once you've owned one, nothing else really measures up. Though her successor managed it somehow- a Collie/German shepherd/golden Retriever cross, male, a rescue dog, utterly fearless and protective, but the sweetest nature you could imagine. And brilliant with kids.
