Quote:Classy shadow.

Indeed it is. And cool, against the mellow sun on the wall. Lovely light hitting the bench-leg too, the minus compensation has helped there.
Saturday shadows could have been created for you...

The back slats of the bench conform most harmoniously with the late-autumn colour scheme. Gently warm colours for a cold season. A rewarding square composition.

There's a lot of humour in this photograph from the bench's missing slat to the shape of the shadow. The colour is lovely and mellow and the fact you've elevated such a humble little bench by putting it centre stage appeals to me.
Very well balanced.. Like the harmony of the wall & bench textures & colours. Great hint of light & shadow .. Perfect

The combination of the warm and cool colors gives this a special glow. A most inviting image.

It's all about the light and this is just glorious... Love it!
Great image with superb light and shadows on the wall and bench.

Tremendous shadow on the old stone wall, the peeling paint, cast iron and the wall, are a delightful recipe for a lovely image.
