Excellent Alan, really really like this
Great title, and a superbly illuminated thought evoking composition.
Thought provoking title - beautiful light on the head stone Alan.
Wonder if anybody will take a photo of our gravestones in the future?
Mysterious and lovely partial light.
The strong contrast, partial light and twisting shapes of the carving give this a feeling of mystery and intrigue. Its beautifully done Alan.
an image filled with beauty.. and an almost sacred atmosphere.. love the way you have not chosen to frame it..
a wow image.
. . . or: the end of the tunnel . . . ?
Teasing us to create our own story from the partial clues on show.
The light is really very lovely.
'Inter'esting light, Alan...... superb.
Heavenly light meets earthy green and black and comes to a dead end.
Strange - my instinctive reaction if I had taken this would be to convert to b&w because I really don't like green on my screen. (A Mastermind question last night included Boucher's objection that Nature is too green and badly lit - I'd go 100% with the first bit at least.) But I love the colour here. It's the ironic antithesis of verdant, lush grass green.
Less is more, Alan.
It has an almost human quality. Hiding in the shadows and a little anxious.
Selective composition, down to the bare bones. Very appropriate for the subject!! A strong moody shot.
As for Alfred being speechless, maybe he's worried.
Love it, love it, love it!
And the Heavens opened........
Wonderfully creative use of light Alan.
what a beautiful bit of light and the greens on black work so well together
I ABSOLUTELY love this.........brilliant work!!
