I used up my weekly award allowance voting for the first version so I've added this to favourites. At the time, I thought it could have been good in colour, and I still think so. Very pleasing image

I prefer the colour. It's not like it's garish or anything!

As a large fine art print that image would sit on the wall of a minimalist appartment or high end commercial office.....beautiful...have an award on me!....stuart

Now you're just showing off, you clever little northerner.
This is a totally different beast from the b&w version, but equally superb. I find myself choosing this one if forced to make a choice.
There, I'll go and lie down for a bit to get over the shock of choosing colour over b&w.

The steely blues and greys enhance this image. I think I like it even more than the mono.

This has greater complexity, and a more 3-D quality, but it doesn't have the stark bleakness. An interesting comparison but I'm glad I put the GEA on the earlier version.

The mono version was great, I think I like this even more, with the use of these limited colours tones. Top artist work.

Well, as you imply in your "handle", you can't step into the same river twice, and the effect of V2 is quite different, but equally pleasing, I'm happy to say. An eye-grabbing image.

As ever I seem to be late to the party, but this is an image that deserves comment.

Many decades ago at the dawning of my career in photography I had to Gold Tone and image for a customer, the original was nothing like as good as this. "You can't make a silk purse out of a pig's ear", this was never a pig's ear Alan.

A wonderful image that deserves a place on your already crowded wall of fame.
