The droplets and pose evoke feelings of sadness - a dying swan - or a cygnet not yet
turned white - I hesitate to say 'ugly duckling' as it is rather beautiful.

Quality shot and the first time I've ever seen a swan look sad. The curve of the neck looks really interesting next to your wrought iron gate image from a couple of days back.

A thoughtfully and well composed image, Alan.
I particularly like the way the 'blue water movement' draws the viewers eye to the important space in front of the swan.
