Giro

By dathersmith
I took a brief trip to the circuit of Ingleborough cycle time trial today and had a play with off-camera flash to see what I could come up with. Where I was stood the riders were approaching pretty fast so my results were a bit hit and miss as a few of them had got past my flash by the time I hit the shutter release. In my defense I made things tricky for myself though as I was down the hill shooting at 200mm as I wanted to capture them on the brow (which was a little hill on a fast downhill section).

An enjoyable hour and one or two decent images. Hope your weekend is going well and thanks for taking a look at this.

Darren.

Like this one, it's got bags of atmosphere. Very hairy legs for a time trialler though Smile

Cracking shot with lots of atmosphere Darren. Was this taken with the quadra's? Agree with Sarah about the legs though!

Works for me! Superb sense of isolation that really gives you a "feel" of the work and effort the rider is having to put in. Tremendous work!

Thanks a lot for the UA Sarah, means a lot especially from an expert in cycling photography as yourself.

Cheers too Richard.
