I agree with all comments above and this subject is not as easy as it looks! Treat the moon as a 'sunlit landscape' and you can't go wrong but any camera on 'auto' settings will surely fail. This is crisp, wel composed, expertly exposed and a great picture. Well done!

Sailing Weekend!
If your cam has adjustable settings - try switching from daylight to tungsten and also cahange the ISO settings as high as it will go. Keep experimenting and I'm sure you will get good results.
Nice effort in the weather!

I live in Spain now but recognize this as one of my old haunts! This is 'Paddy's Hole' in Redcar. Pop in the club in the High St. Dave and say hello to my sister!
Great sky - moody and atmospheric!

I agree with all you say about photographing cats - especially like this one. I too have a 'Bombay' cat (Sooty) and they are notoriously difficult exposure problems - also these creatures know what a camera is and only sit still in the absence of them!
Nice shot and a great looking Moggy!

I'm a sucker for boats and although this is a great work in it's own right....I would love to have seen the original.
Spent quite a while browsing your portfolio - a real pleasure! My favourite is the squirrel, probably because I find a black squirrel so unusual?
Thank you for sharing.

Enjoyed browsing a diverse and varied portfolio - some really nice work here and I have added some 'clicks' too. Like your style and imagination.
Well done and good luck.
A great portfolio Marc and I have enjoyed the last half hour or so browsing your pictures. Thank you for sharing these and may your camera be with you wherever you go.
Good Luck.

Enjoyed browsing your gallery - we have a lot in common in that I too will have a go at anything LOL! You have some really good and imaginative work on display here and I enjoyed my stay.
Good Luck.
