It's level to within about 1.3 seconds of arc, so I'll let it go. And there's a slight dip, roughly in the middle, probably due to lens distortion, but not enough to worry about.Tongue

Nice sky, and I like the composition as well. Attractive distribution of lights and darks. Not sure why you've gone for ultra high contrast though, and blocked out most of the detail in the rocks??

Just thought the high contrast made the image work better Alan , i quite like the graphic quality to this image Smile

The 'dip' is down to light on the horizon. Just keep telling people that, with a totally straight face, and they might believe you.
Like it.

It actually looked like thin line of light reflection that "ate" part of the horizon to the left.
Loved the high contrast.

Point taken, and yes, I see what you mean. Also I think it might look interesting with about 1/2 of the sky cropped out, to emphasize the purely graphic quality even more. I'm not sure if that would really work though, might be too much .... just an idea, what do you think?

Yes, you're right, but I had to find something, I've got a reputation to live up to. Don't tell him though.

Love this composition, wonky horizon or not! This high contrast finish makes me want to reach for my coat as sitting here looking at it sends a chill through my bones, great piece of photography and processing.
