Split second timing must be hellish hard for something like that. Pretty damn good shot though Rod! ....wonder if setting your camera to "Burst" might get you something even better, give you a few frames to choose from? .......but maybe you did!

Interestin Kenny talkin about Thornton dug track that must be a hoosing estate noo? an it was aye fur the big guys nae fur the amateur stuff.

Getting there Rod.!! Don't worry about using the burst, all sport photographers use it to get the peak of the action.
When I am doing the dogs , I use shutter speed of 1500 upwards depending on the light, it stops them dead!!
