This image was taken snorkelling in the Red Sea at Makadi Bay Egypt. I'm not sure what the fish are called? The school of fish swim around circling spasmodically opening their mouths feeding. I have other images more sharp but liked this one as it gave a feeling of depth and movement.

This does work. Apart from the occasional fish being very sharp, the pattern repeat and the inverted triangle are attractive elements.

You took a holiday from uploading on the site, welcome back!

I love this, it's an eyeball to eyeball meeting with another species. B&W is inspired, it gives a sense of otherness. And it has a one-off quirkiness. Not really an image for critique, but Willie's modification does give a bit more impact. Very well done, in I suspect quite tricky conditions. I rather wish I could vote on it.

Really weird...

I'd be interested to see the original colour version as a mod - and, being a little OCD, I wonder how it would look with really high technical quality. Very National Geographic...

But i agree with others - like this, it is utterly other.

They are like an underwater choir, Alison, with their mouths wide open.
I like this as much as others who have commented, inderwater images are not something we see very often, and with the fish coming towards us, we are immediately engaged.
