Royal Albert Hall

By Will Cheung
Taken last December from high up in the Royal Albert Hall - actually we happened to be in the very finak row of seats. We were there for the Christmas Sing-a-long.
Seven images (taken handheld) were stitched using Panorama Factory software.

Wow, love those purple dots of the light and the way you have captured the purple lights shining down on to the stage.

Look at all those people. Going to the Albert Hall is on my list of "Things I must do before I go back to NZ" not that that is likely to happn anytime soon now lol Smile

I would love to feel the atmosphere of this place on "Last night of the Proms" but for now I will just soak up the atmosphere by looking at your image Will.

Hi Will...

I'm kinda a newbie here and got involved a little more seriously with my photography after messing about with just taking pics for the fun of it.....
Last year March bought the Nikon D90 with the standard 55 - 105 kit lens....
I've shot about 60k shots with the machine I have , but looking to get an upgrade to a full frame camera....
Been doing my homework and got the info, and set my heart on the Nikon D700....
Here I notice you shoot with the same camera ! ! !

Now I know you're one of the ''big boys'' in the photography business and mebbe you don't have the time to really chat to us real amateurs.....
Wouldn't blame ya...

But starting with the D90 and getting the D700 with the 70 - 200 f2.8 lens should be getting me on the right track, or what do you think ????

You don't think there's any possibility of all you professionals out there giving us a few pointers and tips here ??
I have learnt so much from reading and looking at the images posted on here by the other photographers and trying to get the same quality type of images as all pro's out there, but think there's still something lacking in my shooting.....

You do great work out there, and boy , was I surprised yr shooting with the D700..... ! ! !

Now I know i just have to get myself one ! ! ! ! ! !

Oh ... the comment on this image of yours is that if I ever get to shoot a shot like this one you have here, then you'll have competition......

You're still safe for now..... lol

Happy shooting mister ! ! !
You're the master ! ! ! !
