Polish night

Polish night by robincoombes

This reminds me so much of the work of Ogle Winston. Amazing atmosphere in the shot. I would be very proud of this shot.

Obviously, the composition and elements within the frame are pefect, however, is it me or is the shot slightly soft?

Fizz Series

I think the lime looks better because of the space the image has on the left. Also, I think that it is better because the water has more detail on it due to having more backlighting brightening the fruit.

Lovely bold image, Bruce. Nice texture captured in the boards. Exellent technique to bag such a great shot. Looking forward to some fab shots from you.

3 cliffs

I am surprised to say that I have never seen an image from this angle before. I'm sure it would make a classic postcard. The saturation is spot on and the image is strong for its simplicity.

The images normally taken from the beach are usually much of a muchness, with too much going on in the frame for anyone to make out the three cliffs. Excellent piece of work.

They are both great shots, however, I prefer the uncropped version - I think that fg makes the image much better and has better flow, as a result.

Glad I've taken the time to look back at your PF for some inspiration. Nothing has changed in my eyes - beautiful timeless pieces.

Utensils by paulcr

Lovely image, Paul. It may seem a strange thing to say, but, it has sharpness and punch along with the perfect amount of diffused glow. I'm sure most people would walk past/not generate this image - great bit of imagination.

Faultless. Pure magic.

Rise and Fall

A better balance in this one to yesterdays. I particularly like the framing of the shed with the bridge arch. Nice touch.

Glenaniff Waterfall

Really like both versions.

I think the swirls in the fg make the image, for me.
