Crashing Waves

Taken during a recent fine yet blustery evening. Managed to stay dry - just. Slowish shutter speed used to blur the waves crashing to give a sense of movement. How do you like it?

I like the way you've blurred the waves. Did you also take one with a faster shutter speed?

Beautiful colours and great composition. The exposure is just right - you can really feel the power of the wave.

Mike: This was the effect I was trying to capture and didn't really have time to shoot one at a faster speed. I take your point though, I would agree that one with all the spray frozen may have looked better.

Only just, Jim. It also nearly went for a soak when I was trying to clamber back across the rocks to the safety of the shore.
