Crashing Waves

By willf1
Taken during a recent fine yet blustery evening. Managed to stay dry - just. Slowish shutter speed used to blur the waves crashing to give a sense of movement. How do you like it?

Exposure: 1/15@ f11

I like the way you've blurred the waves. Did you also take one with a faster shutter speed?

Beautiful colours and great composition. The exposure is just right - you can really feel the power of the wave.

Works really well, original angle, can't wait to visit the sea side to try my hand at a similar shot

Thanks for all your comments.

Mike: This was the effect I was trying to capture and didn't really have time to shoot one at a faster speed. I take your point though, I would agree that one with all the spray frozen may have looked better.

Only just, Jim. It also nearly went for a soak when I was trying to clamber back across the rocks to the safety of the shore.
