Evening Glow

By willf1
One os a series of shots I took about a week ago, which was in turn about a week after my previous uploads. Weather ws a lot calmer and the colours from the sunset were unbelievable and just went on and on.

I composed the image to use the foreground rocks as stepping stones into the image.

I hope you like it but, I would ask you to comment with your views either way. Thanks.

Tony

Exposure 10secs@f22. CP, ND8 grad & sunset grad.

I really like the subtles colours. This is a very peaceful scene. The rocks in the foreground provide a nice bit of interest and are nicely balanced by the large rock in the background.

No secret. Just happened to be out during an amazing sunset at my favourite location. Stuck in work or in the house I have seen quite a few amazing sunsets over the past week or so. Its all about revisiting ppossible locations when the conditions and the right time of year - for where the sun sets.
