The motion in the window is excellent, was he posing?

Really well composed & captured, the movement outside the window really gives the image a feeling of time moving by. would loved to have captured this one.

A super image, and as others have said the movement outside the window adds to the picture.

Well done!

This one is extraordinary, I've come back to it a couple of times. What strikes me is the soft moist-looking blur of the eyes behind those thick lenses. Not what people want to see conventionally in portraits but it carries truth. A lot of adult members here wouldn't be mature enough to value that softness.

Super capture. A thoughtful expression on his face, perhaps thinking about time whizzing by. Very nicely done.

1. This is a gorgeous image of your Grandad. Presented in black and white is perfect. We like the way we can see the countryside whizzing past in the background. Well seen and caught.
2. We like the fact this is a follow on from portrait 1 - we like the way he is looking back to have a last look at the train. Again, perfect in black and white.

Fantastic picture, kind of mixes new with old. Love it. Great job. The motion blur really adds positively to the image.

Cheers
Sean
