Koala Up Close

By Wireworkzzz
Unfortunately we lost an awful lot of our Koalas as well as many other native animals during the worst bush fire season Australia has ever seen. They now believe that many of these poor little guys could have been saved, so a mobile animal hospital is being set up for any future disasters. Hopefully they will create several more as disasters are becoming more common now with global warming.

One of the world's most loved animals so every single bear is important after this disaster. Also given they can only be found in Australia as far as I know. Great image and you can see why they are so loved...

A beautiful image. Some of the images we saw here of the Koalas trying to get away from the Fires were very distressing to see. The people that did everything to rescue them were outstanding. It's great that a mobile a hospital is being set up 👍

A fantastic image of this most charming animal.
I'm glad that your country is being proactive regarding these little guys.

So close we can almost touch Rae , beautiful portrait . Yes the fires were just one of the many trying issues for these beautiful animals in recent times with their numbers dwindling in many areas.
