The light reflection and the bridge leading to the castle really make this for me. A stunning view of this icon.

Glorious - the light from the castle is amazing in amongst those purple tones.
A very Scottish looking image which would make a foreigner want to visit Scotland.

Beautifully done, Rog. When I took one with a similar pov it was a bit whiffy which sort of spoiled the moment. Hope all you had was the fresh waft of salt air borne on an uplifting breeze Smile

I have come across quite a few images of Ellen Donan Castle since joining the selling ranks of ePZ, and in all sincerity this has to be the very best. A stunningly composed, exposed and processed photograph, which for me personally ticks all the right boxes and so many more. "Clearly an exceptionally talented photographer".

Wonderful comp Roger. The way that the rocks form a semi-frame leads the eye and the color in particular is lovely.

Very well considered composition with the bay of f/g rocks providing a secure base for the focal point, the Castle and it's reflection, all captured at a fine time of day for light and colours.

The floodlighting makes a wonderful addition to the castle and it's reflection in the Loch. I'm a great fane of reflections Rog as you know, I don't understand how this one passed me by.
