beautiful, Ellie.
excellent 2+2 composition and conversion.
In the mod I've burned a wee the right and the bottom part, since I find them a bit too bright and distracting.
hope you don't mind!

A harsh, difficult image. You've placed them on a stage or in an exhibition case. Strange and very powerful.

Thank you Moira and Francesco. This was taken on a recent trip with the Within-The-Frame guys and I had it up for image critique one evening and the stage element and also the harsh sunligh in the front was mentioned so I guess I have to believe them now Smile The building had broad stairs in front so I didn't first think about it as a stage.

Love this !
I am firstly drawn to the old lady looking into the camera, next to the exchange between the other two, then you get the feeling of the space being a cool place in a warm environment (hence the bench) next you wonder what the place is. And finally I notice round marks on the ceiling where presumable the space becomes a place where children play with their footballs. There is far to much intrest for me to be distracted by highlights. (Camera club judges sometimes dont get street photography, far to worried about sharpness and burned out highlights instead of compositions and the fact you get one click to capture the moment)

(good point with the one click - that is most of the time exactly how it is!)

Excellent candid shot.
It's a sad scene .... having to ask for bakseesh at this stage of life! My heart goes out to these ladies. Feel very helpless, too.
