At the far end of our garden a lone twig rises from the ivy on the fence. Taken yesterday; much the same today.

A good example of minimalism here Bill.Plenty space around it.But you do need it for these riding crops !!
Good shot.

Minimalism at its very best IMHO. I think it would be superb blown up huge and on a wall.

Very simple and effective, a modern image if you like, would look great on a wall which Hugh has already said. - gary

Less is more Bill. I can see you poking the telephoto out of a gap in the patio doors, firing off a couple of shots and then wisely retreating to the warm.

Tremendous Bill. It takes a good eye to make a photograph out of that but you managed perfectly well.

I like the composition Bill and shallow dof. No1 as a preference.

Well you know how much I love mono, but I found my preference for v1 rather quickly here. I like the layers of pale blues and whites, rather than the very stark white "top" layer in v2 (you seem to have lost some definition there in the conversion).
Might I also add that this must be viewed large - very Zen and minimalistic.
