Grey's Monument

There are so many angles from which this much-photographed icon of Newcastle upon Tyne can be seen that I'm confident of not repeating myself. Each time I pass by I notice something different.
A movement of 30cm either way in viewing position changes the contents of the reflection in the Eldon Square mall out of all proportion. The light is not always so friendly as this!

Firstly, what a marvellous clear and sharp reflection, Bill. You must give the name of your window cleaner, unless this is an example of your patented wiper system adapted from the motor industry.Wink
Your comp is spot on, the monument and the street lighting creating perfect balance to the building on the right.

One of the few things that modern architecture gets right, but it's the reflection of and old style building that makes the image work for me. Marvellous Bill, well spotted and keep looking.
