Hero II

By woolybill1
Thanks to those who commented on yesterday's upload. I have spent most of this afternoon removing the rather unsightly pillar on which Old Bill stands (bereft of his original radiator cap) in order to show his moustache and scarf in all their glory. Unfortunately I have thus had to remove yesterday's background, far too complex for me to duplicate, and replace with a plain background. Oh, well; to misquote OB himself, If I could think of a better 'ole, I'd go to it!

Lovely image, thought it would make a good badge pin.

What a thought, Mick. Unfortunately it's solid bronze and weighs about half a kilo! Bill

You did a great job with the background, Bill, and I was immediately attracted to this image.
When in the antiques trade, I remember Bairnsfather memorabilia commanding high prices to collectors, and would therefore assume this is worth quite a lot, especially being bronze and car-related, adding to the list of potential collectors.

Since mickf1's comment I have weighed Old Bill. He tips the scales at 984 grams...
