Labour Exchange

Another Edwardian plaque on display at Beamish Museum. We're off there again today with our U3A photography group; of course the weather looks grim once more Sad

Many thanks for the warm welcome back and especially to Jeff (cats123) for his research on the statue of the Roman Soldier and to Nezih (nonur) and Dave (WhiteRose1) for their valued U.A.s. Despite a busy day I managed to process quite a few images yesterday and expect to be back commenting within the next month or so . . . Wink

These metal signs, now 'weathered', make such interesting, colourful subjects, Bill.

I like such documentary shots as they substantiate part of history. Good capture, Bill.

I like the differentiation between employers requiring workpeople, and workpeople desiring employmentSmile Very subtle difference.

Now you've finished processing images, you need time to process comments?WinkGrin

A sign which has stood the test of time, unlike most Governmental Offices..

Super capture of this old sign, Bill Smile I like the way it's weathered, creating a nicely framed edging Wink
