Modern Towers

By woolybill1
The garage at Woolybill Towers is too small for the car.

V1 emanates from my first attempt at creating a pinhole lens and was taken handheld from approximately the same viewpoint. Both making and using require more practice . . .

Thanks for votes, comments and other encouragement yesterday, especially to Ollie, Carmen and Graham for their cherished awards.

The car seems to have travelled back through time to the very onset of photographic importance, Bill. Intriguing effect on this particular image.

Surveillance photography at its grainy best, Bill.

Your garage is indeed extremely suitable for Dinky Toys, or Matchbox series, but Tonka may have problems squeezing some of their products in...Wink

Knowing what I know now, any photographer worth his salt could make some beautiful things with pinhole cameras

p.s. interesting and attractive results, Bill, keep your Pinhole Project going

I can squeeze my car into my garage, but personal egress requires care, and is quite challenging if I'm having an off day Sad

I rather like your V... certainly a better result than I achieved with my own experiments.

My garage was designed with the idea that it should be able to accomodate two Rover SD-1s... Sadly, I have never subsequently got to own an SD-1, and it has become filled with sundry stuff. A long-term project is to make room for at least one supermini...

Think you need a bigger garage...or a smaller car, Bill! 😁 I rather like the abstractness of the version 👍

It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a
5 door saloon to enter the kingdom of Woolybill Towers.

Aperture priority, Bill. It may well be a case of 'size does matter' SmileSmile
Having said that. Your pinhole images are a lot better quality than most
CCTV pictures.

Back in the time of our ( depending on our individual ages ! ) Great / Great Great / Great Great Great-you get the picture Grandparents, photographs were something new and something special. They altered perception of our world in so many different ways. Imagine, for example, you had never travelled within a few miles of home then you saw photograph of a Pyramid or a Giraffe, how would that make you feel ? I'm getting that sense of "wonder" from this series Bill so, they are just.......... Great Great Great.

Nothing much to add Bill! Wonderful experimentation - you're a braver man than I am and the effects are pleasingly mind altering!
