The living-room floor of my brother's house in mid-Wales. Only minimal adjustment of the mid-tones in Levels has revealed some amazing colour.
What a floor! Some wonderful colours and it makes a lovely abstract.
great less is more work
Lovely tiles, lucky brother! Wonderfully observed, as always, and shooting on the diagonal was inspirational. It totally makes this. Regards. Bob
KingBee's comments say it for me as well.
P.S. thanks for the UA.
I like this Bill. I get strange looks when I take this type of image eg Yesterday I was taking shots of a rather nice Hedge !!!!
Jonathan always had excellent taste.
Makes a good abstract Bill, the colour and strong lines work so well.
Nice abstract Bill
Superb Bill, simple yet very effective, great colours and textures.
My brother in law has similar tiles in his kitchen Bill, but I never thought of taking a pic !!
Perhaps it is best.He thought I had a screw loose taking a pic of his rusty padlock and hasp on his garage door !!
This makes a grand geometric abstract.
Well picked out Bill, makes a fine abstract image,
What a fabulous floor. Very satisfying photographically.
Fantastic colors and composition here!
Love these tiles ... What some please
Greatshot from you
Lovely tiles, well seen Bill. Really like this image...........Sandy
Excellent abstract image frame, Bill, with wonderful colors, hues, textures, & diagonals. Well-seen & performed. Stay well.
YUM!! I love a good bit of flooring, especially on an angle (you may remember my Herculaneum and Pompeii floors?), you've ticked all the right boxes for me with this one Bill. Super textures and tones.
Good abstract Bill, the blue tiles on the diagonal make the shot work for me.
I like the lines, colours and textures - pleased to be 30th Bill
Good one BIll for all the right reasons.
Cold on the feet.
Love the pattern and the detail Bill
Well the blue ones in the centre might be Quary tiles Bill, but the others look like Chinese Slate to me. We have them in our Conservatory, and all the different colours in any light, look just stunning. Well I might be wrong, but they're certainly not Welsh Slate
A superb abstract image Bill, I never knew the Lifesnapper was such an expert on tiles, does he work at B&Q or Topps Tiles?
A great diagonal and pattern
As ever Bill the observant eye spots the opportunity and the eye and hand get the composition and colour right!
The tones are super on the tiles & some nice colours
Wonderful colours in the floor tiles Bill, A closer view might tell more about the viewer, especially after consuming a bottle of whisky?
Really like the compositionand colours here Bill - gets my award
simple and strong!
