I hope everyone had a brilliant Christmas with all the goodies they desired. Unfortunately Santa ignored my request for a Nikon D700 and a Bugatti Type 43 (notice I wasn't demanding a D3x and a Veyron: I know my limits), but he came up trumps with the Paracetamol so that I could upload this morning.

All I have to offer is this little selection of cast-offs observed in Newcastle recently. It is after all a Sunday!

V1 & V2: Canon G10
V3 & V4: Lumix DSC-FX100

Great set of shots, good job the bike rider was outside the chemist when he got run over on his bike.....has a feeling of extreme weather about these shots....Hope the pills work !!

Hooray for paracetamol, within reason Bill, but it's a lifesaver at times. As for the bike who knows, looks like the tyres must have been removed with a knife?

These Boots were made for walking.....but the bike wasn't made for riding.

Very well observed Bill, not only for the photo's but that paracetamol has the answer to your problems

The sign makes it clear that the bike was left there by a law-abiding citizen.

Oh well ..we cant get all we desire...and as for your restraint ....
I am impressed !
V1 gets a click today

Shame you didnt get the Bugatti Bill would have made a great V1

Oh well :-(

Looks like the spokesman has been on the rampage Wink Wonderful little series Bill. V1 works very well in mono.

V1 has that Amsterdam look.....Tip of the day : When wife goes to sleep whisper few times D700....D700 to her ear...I do that every night, I can't tell you what her reply is.....

First of all Bill, thanks for telling me it is Sunday.Had to think that one out for a minute. My head kinda feels as buckled as your bike here !! Santa ignored my request too.An Olympus EP2.Reckon it would be a good ''pocket'' camera, with SLR quality, and no need to carry a suitcaseful of lenses around with you !! Rather appropriate your images here.''Santa'' told me to ''get on my bike'' !!

A superb set of images that come under the umbrella of silly Sunday street photography. The epzers' have spoken and given them their approval

I do like the reflections in V1 & V2

Great composition and reflections in #1 Bill, and can't help wondering if he ignored the sign?

Wow, these are superb! The award if for V2 - like the different shades in the pavement, and think , the reflections has more depth in the coloured version. V3 and V4 evoke a question: Has there been a stormy time before you took the pics? I think I have never seen that many and that extremly destroyed umbrellas...
