Good use of that lens - and I like the shadow from the broken end of the boat

Yes,definately the blunt end of the boat here Bill.
(And I recall a function I was at in the Navy club one night.(Not to be confused with the Dockers club you understand.)The old sea dogs there were adamant that ANYTHING that floats on top of the water is a SHIP.It is a submarine that is only a BOAT as it goes under the water.I am still not convinced with that one though !!)

Oh... the reasons I like it?
Well... there are too many to list!
But here goes....
Those gorgeous vapour trails in that stunning sky, the foreground shadow, a gorgeous old dilapidated boat, the shingle detail... I could go on!
All in all, its a great composition and one of those times when everything comes together all at the same time (doesn't happen for me much these days!) 
A pic to brighten anyone's day!
Today, I'm off to see the torch! It's finally got to North London!
And it's a scorcher!

Super stuff here, Bill, wonderful shadow...and there's just a bit of deep blue on the back end / rear / stern which matches that lovely deep blue sky
