May Day 5

By woolybill1
Last appearance for the week of Coffee Pot No. 1, carefully arranged to show the pile of old engineering tools previously shown in Any Old Iron with the water tank and coal supply to the left and the pit-head engine house and winding gear in the distance.

Thanks for your votes, comments and awards yesterday, all very much appreciated.
Thanks for looking Smile

Wonderful Bill. A giant coffee pot and some giant tongs, presumably for the giant sugar cubes that are just out of the frame..Smile
Another winner from Beamish.

Excellent documentary image and the processing gives an, 'of the era' feel to this image Bill.

Love your powerful black and white images. Have you seen Gerald Chamberlain’s work? From Cumbria. He did an excellent Zoom talk on Wednesday.

A change to see that everything at Beamish is not all neat and tidy!! Good industrial scene, Bill.

There's a grittiness to your processing which definitely complements the scene, Bill.

I love these images of industrial detritus. As with Moira's image, it immediately grabbed my attention and another ua for the woolybills.
