Alcazar

By wraggster
Using a combination of a standard lens and macro-extension tubes, I was attempting to capture a close-in shot of one of the number of bees utilising the Alcazar garden's flora. In the moments waiting for a visit, I took the opportunity to experiment with the exposure and focusing throughout the length of the inside of the flower. I combined spot-metering for the inside of the petal, while placing the main focus towards the rear of the flower. The resulting overexposure for the external light entering the flower provided a surprising and abstract image. Hope you like it.

Good attempt at a macro abstract. Ideally the centre should be sharper.
