Aunt Lizzie's Cottage Edinburgh

By wulsy
A new childrenís television series which features an iconic building in Princes Street Gardens could be great news for tourism in Edinburgh, according to VisitScotland.

The Head Gardenerís Cottage doubles as the home of Great Aunt Lizzie in Teacup Travels, which was broadcast on CBeebies for the first time on Monday 9 February, and features in all 25 episodes of the series. The series is funded by the BBC and Creative Scotland.

The national tourism organisation hopes the cottage will inspire the kind of pilgrimages by families seen with other Scotland-set childrenís TV series such as Balamory and Katie Morag.
