I love seascapes and this is superb. Any artist would love the vanishing point convergence.

Excellent picture regardless of pixel peeping. I like the composition, too much fashion for tight crops with no surrounding interest. As a micro four thirds user I have less glass to lug around (950 gram 100 400 with 800mm field of view) BUT impressed at the 5000 ISO quality you are getting. I guess heavy cropping also possible.

Thank you, through a double glazed patio door with a resultant little bit of under contrast to correct afterwards.

CSpanner on menu then operation then Function Button set. I use FN16 for Near FN18 for Far bias. This was introduced in Firmware 2.0 and is in notes at end of revised handbook you can download along with firmware. The Custom buttons can save whatever you currently have. Quote:Very hard to get everything in focus but boy the wings are so sharp. Super shot! David

Thank you David, I braved moving at Easter (big cashback offer and good trade in) from APSC Pentax K3II system to Lumix G9 and am still getting used to the different depth of field and resultant hyperfocal range. F11 seems overkill as it was indeed the head/golden wings I was after pin sharp, Certainly nort the foreground log. The 100 to 300 Vario is a very nice lens for 500 quid. With all such photography being as near to 90 degrees on as possible helps.
