CSpanner on menu then operation then Function Button set. I use FN16 for Near FN18 for Far bias. This was introduced in Firmware 2.0 and is in notes at end of revised handbook you can download along with firmware. The Custom buttons can save whatever you currently have. Thank you David, I braved moving at Easter (big cashback offer and good trade in) from APSC Pentax K3II system to Lumix G9 and am still getting used to the different depth of field and resultant hyperfocal range. F11 seems overkill as it was indeed the head/golden wings I was after pin sharp, Certainly nort the foreground log. The 100 to 300 Vario is a very nice lens for 500 quid. With all such photography being as near to 90 degrees on as possible helps.

Heavily cropped and resized.Hooray for Dual OIS on my recently purchased Lumix G9 and 100 to 300mm (200 to 600 equiv) Vario lens. When I'm rich enough I might get the bigger Leica 100 - 400mm.
