My attempt to piece together a battery powered highly portable flash kit is becomming quite an adventure. What I thought was going to be the last component arrived yesterday after a two week haul from China. It consisted of two short cables with PC-sync plugs on one end and jack plugs on the other. I discovered the angle-bracket and brolly mounts had nowhere to attach the radio triggers so I need the cables to link the triggers to the Dynax adapters' PC-sync sockets. Well the PC-sync plugs fitted just fine but the jack plugs were 2mm and not 2.5mm. What the hell is a 2mm jack plug when it's at home? OK...maybe there's a 2mm female to 2.5mm male adapter. Apparently not. So...it looks like I'll have to get 2 2.5mm jack plugs and break out the soldering iron. I found some plugs for 99p each. Not bad - only 1.98 for the two but postage is 2.99. Grrrr. Plus...I haven't found my 30 year old soldering iron yet lol.

Shoots? What are they?

It was Maplins I was looking at but it says on their site 2.99 postage for orders under 35. However...following your suggestion I took another look, ordered 2 of these plugs anyway and no postage! Cooolio. Many thanks Smile
