beautiful black and white photo. has a strong reportage style impact (as a photo with an article about abandoned children for example). One question though... did you find the setting like this or did you set it up (which is not negatively meant, just would like to know)?

Well this pulls at the heart strings - when my son was small (even now) he would go and pick this up - wash and find a home for it.
Well caught

Woah, a HC! Nice one Peter Smile

I should have taken it home, but what you don't see in the image is the the dog's mess nearby; kind of off putting! heh heh!

As for the bear itself, it didn't position it; that's how I found it; it had an instant impact on the old heart strings..

Cheers guys,

Congrats on a well deserved HC Michael! Love this type of shot, where the veiwer is left with far more questions than answers. The tone and crop suit very well too.

great image - very strong impact and well deserved HC
the image raises a range of thoughts such as why did the child leave the bear - or the softie in me is sad for the bear being alone =)

good idea about the crop/composition - it's always best to only upload your good images and leave the crap photo's on the hard drive hehe =)

keep up the great work

Hi Mike, Great shot full of impact and very thought provoking. Well seen. You could derive a plethora of reasons for this toy being in that setting. (click)
