Last Light

By katieb
I had just arrived on sky having spent 5 hours of driving up from Glasgow in the rain - so I was really surprised to see a bit of evening light as I drove along the Trotternish peninsula looking for the cottage we had rented. The light was amazing on the distant islands but I struggled to find a good vantage point as I was driving along. My tripod was still in pieces in my bag so I had to balance the camera on a fence post - the wind managed to blow a filter out of my hand and over a fence all covered in barbed wire - luckily I had my niece with me who has lovely long legs so it was retrieved without too much mishap.
