I saw this child when looking around a church, I asked his gran if I could take this she okayed it I loved the way he was looking every where, was as if he expected to find something or someone hence the title Smile

Clean, simple red and blue against that ancient red, perfect timing, composition, crop. Plus those lovely shadows falling across the carpet.
I'm not wild about the processing on the little boy's teeshirt, to me it looks harsh and somehow detached from the rest of the image. But that's a minor quibble - like Ann I love this one.

Well they recon that kids can see things adults lose the ability to notice as common sense overtakes innocence. Perhaps he's seen the ghost of a past vicar/priest, or something.
