Yes it does look well worth the effort. The sky does look rather dark for the scene, I don't know if you used a grad or burnt it in afterwards, or a bit of bothe. Personally I wouldn't have gone so dark, but on the other hand I do like the brooding mood that it portrays.
I agree about your positioning in the frame, but I can't complain as it is.
Keith.

Fabulous view from up there! The views from the mountain tops up here are just so impressive and it always seems sad to me that so many of the people who visit never see them.

Certainly worth adding the colour, and sometimes people can enhance an image and I think this is case here.

stunning scenery, and well composed shot. I agree with Keith, I think image is better balanced if the top part is a bit brighter.

After lugging a heavy 5D up a Scottish hill, you're entitled to be in the shot. The moodiness suits - as if there is foreboding weather not far away, as there usually is and the little speck of light is the hope for good weather.
Great shot!

Marvellous scenery Paul, you have really captured the mood of the day.

Fantastic Paul, the Cuillins at eye level instead of in the far distance, a spectacular view of the Lochs below, top of the world for my money, so well done.

Spectacular, brilliant shot. Good use of colour. Re your position - you'll have to do it again !
