TribalsHi Ben, i think its a nice image placing ger in her environment.

i have done a mod which i feel lifts it slightly, i could be wrong, i added contrast to the image as a whole. selected around the lady and feathered then applied some brightrnin through levels to the background as i felt it added a litlle bit more depth when there was something you you focus on a little behind her. (might be wrong, its happened before!) then pushed the exposure on the whole thing for a little more brightness.

hope thats ok

Playing Soldiers

Playing SoldiersHi there,
not sure what in camera settings you could have changed to improve this as the shot itself seems ok, nice colours and the soldier is well exposed. takin snapshots always leaves things that you don't see at the time, the only thing i find distracting here is the table to his left, very bright and takes attention away from him. had a quick go at darkening it, nomy quick so its slightly patchy but if you did it with a bit of care it may improve....

nice shot of the moment though

river dee in the snow

river dee in the snowtried cropping the image down a bit, there was quite a lot of sky but not much actually happening in it, no clouds for you unfortunately.
removed a bit of foreground too as i thought it might make what was left of the shadow a little less distracting???

tried to lighten the shadow also but not sure it really worked on the jpeg.... tiny bit of colour boost to get some vibrance in the sky

hope thats ok.

Tigersi agree this is a lovely shot, i have uploaded a mod with a couple of changes i would make.

i have cropped it more letterbox style as it removes the bright highlight from the top right corner which is a bit distracting, this also meant i could brighten the rest of the image with levels and then i moved saturation by about 8 just to show off the tigers amazing colouring

hope thats ok

BlackbirdHi, Nice to see a bird that isn't a robin at the moment!

I think the blackbird could have filled the frame a little more as its got the title role. Probably this was at the long end of the lens so you couldnt get nearer but possibly crop it in a bit now.

Also there seems to be a twig/branch running through the mddle of the bird which is slightly distracting, could that be cloned out a bit?

Great depth of field, i am by no means an expert but hope the comments help
