Cathedral Rock

By Z_Driver
Here's a shot of Cathedral Rock. I was trying to go for an original take on this heavily photographed location. This is a fantastic location. I suggest any one visiting Arizona makes the trip to Sedona to visit this park. The best part is you can experience all of this with a very short hike.

I really enjoy this location because it is such a rare combination of elements. It's desert with trees and even rarer is running water in the desert.

Really like the water movement and the colours in the fg rock. The light hitting the rock in the back of the shot reveals some lovely colour

It does look like a great place to be

Thanks for the positive comments everyone. The landscape shots on ephotozine have always been a benchmark to which to aspire. I will definately be going out again to see if I can improve on this shot.

I really appreciate your comments but I would also love to know what you would improve.
