Exceptional. The girl's eyes are hypnotic, the folds in her dress stand out beautifully against the featureless surrounding snow, the dark fins of her shoulders enhance the balance created by her central position in the frame. A mystifying, entrancing, mesmerising portrait. I absolutely love it.
there's always a mutual, unsaid language between the girls and pets and surrounding and it does one to compel to think about it..
I love the straightness of the approach, every time. the gazes so direct that one finds himself / herself in direct communication with the subjects.. those eyes always appear to ask questions to us..
In this case, its really fascinating the way she has bent down over the snow.. that is a very haunting kind of thing, the way she has decided to stare at me for some time.. really haunting. and the cat is not less engaging.. her reaction is that of animal instinct before a stranger.. the girl really curious to find a fellow human after a long, long time.. and that longing for a company is clearly visible..
Really haunting.. and yet very beautiful and a very rare and compelling compilation of the two.. deserves a big round of applause and many awards..
