the contrast between the round boulders and the layercake strata makes this composition very attractive.

Held the exposure well here, Ant.

I think there's a much, much stronger shot in here, however.
The cliff, sky and farthest part of the shore are not really helping the composition, especially the very truncated cliff. They tend to look like more of a necessary consequence of your main composition rather than part of the overall image concept.

If you try a 1x1 crop up from the bottom of the frame, you'd eliminate these distraction and end up with the falls making a very powerful diagonal across the frame. You may also need to clone out the small rock at the very left hand edge - again it only distract from what is a lovely waterfall shot.
Worth a try, maybe? I think you may agree Wink

I've taken this scene dozens of times and it always looks different and can be transformed by the strength of the waterfall and the light. For me, the light Striking the wet boulders and strong lead-in line make the shot. I agree that the sky is not contributing much but then in some of mine from here it can become a competing element. A very good image indeed and beautifully processed.

thank you all for your comments and votes, cheers for that Bill / Alun i do agree, i see now that there is too much empty space in the right top, but as you say the falls are the main focus in this scene and i think the square format would be a better option.
