Brothers

By zarquon
These brothers were a photogenic pair and a joy to photograph. A short session (in an impromptu studio that was set up for a play-group) was all that was required to capture the hearts of mum & dad.

Single 100 x 100cm softbox at 5 o'clock placed at 5 feet high - f/8.0 at 35mm on Canon 16 ~ 35mm f/2.8L

The jpeg file type appears to have destroyed the smooth skin textures in this image (according to my screen. Grrrr! I may take it down after a day. Would observers kindly tell me what they see. Thank you. z.

Thank you for stopping by to comment, Zarozinia, it is much appreciated. Your portfolio shows that you have a great eye for plants. I really like the red anemone because it reminded me of a Peony. A pleasing and carefully executed portfolio.

I am obliged to you for your comment VIKI. storm at Boscastle jumped off of your portfolio page. I love the tonal range in that image. Very satisfying.

Thank you for your comments, millymcb. I enjoy photographing young kids because they are always so much fun. I see from your own portfolio that you like to do that too. 'Another one', 'curly lock rework', 'funny face' and 'first portrait' all appealed to me.

Nice to know that there is another fan of Marmite. Smile Is it tough to find it in Oz? what about Vegemite? Do you like that?
