Lesson 1.........The Grip

This shot was taken in Verona. One week every year they have a festival all over the Town celebrating medieval games.; this one being the art of cheese rolling. A queue of young lads waited patiently for a lesson from the "Grand Master" into the technique.
As soon as I uploaded it I realised I needed to crop a foot out. See V1

Cheese rolling ... could so easily be a Monty Python sketch ... and yet this looks far too serious for that
