You have certainly brought impact to the shot making it black and white. Great work.
A great mono shot powerful storytelling - I think for me it could have been less central a move twoards the railing would have created a little more tension and shown the posters a little more front on (great repeating image here however).

Very powerful image, nice crisp processing and for me the central positioning works well. The figure will impede anyone walking through here and they will be forced to face something potentially unpleasant or outside their won comfort zone. In that respect this is quite confrontational. I really like this.
I can only echo the comments from NevP.
Great processing, such a powerfull image, normally placing the focal point dead centre doesn't work, but for me it does, because the guy "is" getting in the way. The stark high contrast mono style really works in this. As you can tell I like it !

Hmm composition, as to positioning centrally there is a point there, moving the figure off to the side? no. He needs to be in the line of view for reasons Nev mentions, he is ablock to progress and fortunately falls into the nice area of light. if i was to change this, i'd look at a portrait composition, with the figure in the top half emphasizing the walk up to him and him as an obstruction (of sorts) in your path.
All in all, a good shot!
