Thank you for all your kind comments. I am trying to create some clean shots without clutter, rather than trying to clean up and hide distractions.
The shot is close to as originally taken, but I have a habit of separating a subject from its background onto a separate layer so that I can modify lighting/contrast etc. I obviously need to feather by a couple of pixels. In a recent competition, the judge remarked the underside was too light, so I added an adjustment layer and darkened the lower half, which is the submission I have offered. (Season for cherries now over).
I like the removal of the front vignette by Chase; I am torn between removing the light spots or not. I can see the difference in contrast by Banehawi which I like
And from Pamelajean, thanks for recomposing; it really makes a difference and will think more about in future; not sure about the frame colour, but will try others than red. Thanks to you all

Just two. First one the yolk got broken. Taken on high speed continuous with remote on lock
