Magpie

By ZInaNMooner
This morning I woke hope excited to go out and get some shots of birds, I'm loving it. To my despair when I looked outside the weather was poor, cloudy and raining a bit, so ..... I went out anyway.
I though it was a good opportunity to test new skills, a good challenge to get to know the camera better.
After many attempts I started to understand better what to do to get better results. This image was the best of the lot and I'm quite pleased with the result under the circumstances.
This I presume is a Magpie, I don't seem to see many pictures of these birds around, for me they are a beautiful bird.

These birds are not easy to get close to never mind take a picture of. You have done extremely well here. The more you take, the more experience you get and the more a photographer's work will improve.

A good looking bird, you've caught it well. It is quite different from the magpies we see in Australia.
